After talking with Moriah for the first time, it was clear to us that she is a force of light and energy. She has been hit with a really hard stretch of life and we want to make her life just a bit easier.
Moriah is a college art student with an incredible eye for color and meaningful messages. At the start of COVID, Moriah’s school moved to remote learning and she moved back to Texas. She was met at home with abuse and blame, forced to move out and couch hop until she was able to find her own place many months later.
During this time, she started experiencing intense pain in 2 of her teeth. When she sought medical care from a dentist, she was taken advantage of to the tune of several thousand dollars and bad care that left her in more pain and in need of more work. She has since found a new, trusted dentist through a friend but her financial hurdle is daunting.
Moriah misses her school in Baltimore, she misses her art that is in a storage unit, and she has things in front of her that need to be taken care of.
We have been able to help Moriah with a donation that is small compared to her total amount. We want to direct our community to her needs so that she might receive more assistance.
